Indy Sinsa 26

Mould Release Oil

Description

INDY Sinsa 26 is an emulsifiable mould release oil that prevents concrete sticking to moulds or shuttering work. INDY Sinsa 26 produces a smooth finish with no concrete build up on the mould or shutter board. This results in the mould or shutter board to be able to be used immediately. The product may be applied by spray, rollers, brush or swabs. It is important that a uniform coating is applied in order to avoid variations in the appearance of the finished product. Too thick a film will result in discolouration, while too thin a film may cause damage as the product is released from the mould.

Application

INDY Sinsa 26 can be used neat or as an emulsion on moulds or shuttering mould from timber, plywood or metal. To achieve best results mix 3 parts water to 1 part product, for less critical applications use 5 parts water to 1 part product. Stir the oil vigorously as water is added slowly to the product until a thin homogenous emulsion is formed. It is important to note that the emulsion must be used on the day that it is mixed. For new moulds it is best to apply two or three coats before being used.
