Lubricants Industrial Industrial Greases Indy Graphite Grease
INDY Graphite Grease is a smooth textured dark grey/black grease. It contains a calcium thickener incorporating finely dispersed lubricating graphite. This product has a strong affinity to metal surfaces and a high resistance to water washout. The graphite acts as a solid lubricant which reduces friction, prevents scuffing and seizure even when the grease is displaced.
INDY Graphite Grease can be used in open gears, as overhead wire lubricant for trolley bushes, pump glands, link pins, etc. It can also be used in rail and flanged lubrication equipment. The product has specifically been developed for the lubrication of pantograph strips and contact wires as well as for steam locomotive pins, bogie centers and Syncrolift wire ropes.
